After the ultrasound we took the kids to Burger King for lunch. Then my brother Ben and I took the kids to the AZ State Fair. It was really hot, so we did all of the indoor activities first. The kids rode a few rides. The kids heard screams as they waited in line for the roller-coaster. Parker was getting increasingly worried. By the time he reached the front of the line he wasn't sure he could go through with it. Afterward his first words were, "I don't know why I made such a big deal out of it." There was an awesome petting zoo. It had all sorts of exotic animals, including a baby giraffe, zebra, baby bison, ostrich (we didn't pet that mean old thing), and camel, as well as the usual farm animals. Ben encountered an overly friendly Zebu (Brazilian cow) that nuzzled him then licked his arm. Gross.
