Today was the student matinee of Ballet AZ's the Nutcracker. The girls really loved seeing the ballet, and (Hooray!) now London and Brooklyn want to resume ballet lessons. The boys really liked it too, and I think it helped for them to see that men do ballet too. This was a shortened version of the ballet, which was perfect. We got to see all of the highlights, without the little ones getting restless. There was also a question and answer period afterwards, with some of the dancers, which was cool.Thursday, December 18, 2008

Today was the student matinee of Ballet AZ's the Nutcracker. The girls really loved seeing the ballet, and (Hooray!) now London and Brooklyn want to resume ballet lessons. The boys really liked it too, and I think it helped for them to see that men do ballet too. This was a shortened version of the ballet, which was perfect. We got to see all of the highlights, without the little ones getting restless. There was also a question and answer period afterwards, with some of the dancers, which was cool.

We took Madison the Nutcracker too. This was our first time and I thought it was awesome! That is fun that they have a student matinee that you can take all your kids to.
