We'll be in the middle of moving this week, and will miss out on Braden's birthday. We still had his family party at our house at Sunday dinner. He is still at the age where he is thrilled with a cake with candles on it, and didn't even notice that he didn't have any presents to open. That's awesome! (He'll get them after the move.) He was sitting a little too far from the candles, and had a hard time blowing them out, but he finally got it.
My good friend from Germany, Colleen LeBreton, spent the day with us today, as she was in town for her sister-in-law's wedding. It was good to catch up a little.
