Our Cat

We aren't allowed to have pets in the house we are renting. The kids really wanted a cat, so I've been allowing them to feed the neighborhood strays on the front porch. One is an orange tabby that the kids named Tiger. He is a very good cat, and is awesome with the kids. I began to wonder if the kids were over feeding him when he started putting on weight. When he looked like he'd swallowed a barrel, we realized that Tiger was actually a very pregnant Tigress. We kept an eye on her, and noticed that yesterday she didn't come for food. Today a much thinner and famished Tigress was on our porch, waiting to be fed. We'll try to find where she has hidden her kittens, and take the little family with us when we move. We can't leave her now that she and her babies are so dependent on us.
