I took the kids to Lowe's for the free Build and Grow Clinic so that they could make me plant boxes for Mother's Day presents.
They each got a pair of goggles to keep for future clinics.
They were supposed to get an apron too, but the store ran out. We still had our Home Depot aprons in the car, but thought we'd forgo wearing them in Lowe's.
Each child got to pick out a flower to take home in their plant box. There were extras, so we were allowed two each. That's fortunate, because I have a decidedly brown thumb.
