Papa, Grammy, and Uncle Ben came to spend the night last night. This morning we all headed down town to Veteran's Memorial Park for the Independence Day Activities.

The cavalry horses were out for people to meet.

Brooklyn really loves horses. So does Grammy. Parker kept a safe distance from the horses, so as to avoid an allergic reaction. What a lousy allergy to have!

He did enjoy holding a cavalry sword.

There were military displays set up to take a peek at.

Braden and a few of the other children were fingerprinted by the police. I told them they had better never have it done again at the station.

We stayed for the National Anthem and the presentation of the flag.

Then we headed to Ivey's for some home cookin'. Yum. Afterwards we went home for ice cream. In the evening, we took the kids to see Sierra Vista's awesome and lengthy fireworks display. None of the little kids cried. Bonus.
