Everyone is excited, including Mom.
Braden is very sad that he doesn't get to go. He says he's not going to be three any more. He's going to be five so that he can go to school. I got him his own backpack that he takes with him everywhere now, and that seems to appease him somewhat.

why did you decide not to homeschool any more? Good luck kids!
We decided to take a break from the homeschooling so that our kids coild gain more experience dealing with peers. As mean as it sounds, we wanted them to experience being the new kid, being rejected by their first crush, trying not to be known as the smart geeky kid, yet not acting like a dummy to try to fit in, getting picked last for the team, and being the only kid who says things like Gosh, Darn, and Heck. In short, we wanted them to be able to fit in, but still be outsiders on the inside. Does that make sense?
