Halloween!

I decided we should go with the Star Wars theme again. We were able to reuse the Darth Vader, R2D2, Leia, and Yoda costumes from 2 years ago. (Although I had to sew new Yoda ears.) I bought the Stormtrooper and Anakin costumes last year after Halloween at 90% off. In all I spent less $10 on costumes this year. Brent stayed home to pass out candy, and my mom and dad and I took the kids to our church Trunk-or-Treat. We got so much candy!

Anakin-Parker
(Parker's friend Clare trunk-or-treated with us. She's a cutey.)

Leia-London
She really has outgrown this, but she refused to be a boy character.

Stormtrooper-Preston
Preston hated wearing the mask, and wanted to keep it off. The mask is the distinguishing characteristic of the Stormtrooper, so I made him wear it.

Yoda-Brooklyn
Brooklyn was concerned about portraying a boy character, and I had to convince her that she would be ultra-cute. She did get the most "cute" remarks.

R2D2-Braden
Braden chose lollipops from every candy dish. He ended up with so many lollipops. I was hoping for chocolate...

Darth Vader-Eden
I had a little voice box that made Darth Vader breathing sounds for Eden. She was too cute!

Something ghastly to frighten you. Really, this should be illegal.
Happy Halloween!
