After eating dinner at Tasty Thai again, we headed to This Is The Place Heritage Park for the last night of their Candlelight Christmas celebration. There was dancing, live reindeer, and old-fashioned crafts for the children. There was candle making, and we made candy cane ornaments out of beads. We met Father Christmas, and had our picture taken with him. It was humbling to see the tiny cabins that the pioneer families lived in. We would have liked to stay longer, but Preston's socks were soaked, and he was certain that he was getting frostbite trudging through the snow. After loading up the kids, we were on our way back to Arizona. Brent drove until we got to the Hoover dam. Then I took over. We made it back to Grammy and Papa's house by 8a.m. Christmas Eve. It was a great trip.
