Fuzzy Santa and Earrings!

Braden, Eden, and I went to see the mall Santa. Usually babies cry, and toddlers are okay sitting on Santa's lap. Eden was totally fine, but Braden hid behind me and wouldn't go see Santa. The picture lady was nice enough to say that I could take ONE picture. So I situated Eden and put Braden on the seat next to Santa, then quickly backed up and fired off a picture before Braden could make a run for it. In my haste, I didn't realize that someone had been messing with my camera, and had switched it to manual focus. Hence, the fuzzy Santa picture. Phooey.

Next, we took Eden to Claire's to get her ears pierced for Christmas.

She only cried for a minute, and hasn't pulled at them at all. She looks so cute and girly, I love it!

Afterward, Braden and Eden played on the mall playground. Next we stopped in at B. Dalton Booksellers, which is going out of business. Yay, 40% off everything! I bought some Christmas presents for the kids there. Then we headed to Bath and Body Works to wash our hands for lunch. I just love the smell of their soaps. We finished up our mall visit with a trip to the food court for lunch. We picked up Chinese food to take home and share with Brent. When I told him that we had just pierced Eden's ears, he went all soft, and asked if she had cried. It really wasn't any worse than when she gets shots.
