9-1-1 Emergency

Braden was being mean to Eden, so I sent him to his room, where unfortunately, I had installed a phone. A few minutes later, I answered the front door to find a policeman. Braden had apparently dialed 9-1-1. I don't know what he thought the police would do to help a kid who got sent to his room. A report had to be filed, so the cop took my info. He then told me that the 9-1-1 dispatch operator had tried to call back to check on us, but couldn't get through, so I should check the phones to be sure they were all properly hung up. Braden and I had some serious conversation and consequences.
Tonight when I was checking our phone messages, there was one left by the 9-1-1 dispatcher. After the beep she said,
"Hi, this is 9-1-1. We just got a call from this number. If you have an emergency, please give us a call back at 9-1-1."
I thought that was hilarious. She was just returning my call, and left the number where she could be reached.
