Carol still enjoys roller coaster rides, but is starting to feel her age catching up with her. The Ninja rattled her brain, and The Great American Scream Machine was too jarring on her body.
None of the kids would pose with the characters. We're more of a Disney family, and I don't think that the majority of my kids have ever actually watched Looney Tunes.
I asked Eden if the roller coaster was her favorite ride so far. She said, "Well, it went really fast and up and down, so not really my Favorite, Favorite."
For the most part, Camden was the only one who was too short for rides. Everyone else was very brave.
Cam's Favorite, Favorite was definitely the tiny diesel trucks. We let him ride twice, then still had to pry his little fingers from the steering wheel. He also loved the carousel.
We got through the day with only a couple of minor arguments.
I think that bonding may even have happened.
We saved the Thunder River for last. I'm particularly glad, as I was soaked through and hate walking around in wet jeans. The kids took off their shoes and socks to wring them out.
Eden was drenched, and waddled like a penguin the rest of the evening.
Overall it was a very good day.
