Mommy Daughter Date

I took London on a Mommy/Daughter Date to celebrate her birthday early.

We drove to the Columbia, SC temple to do baptisms for family names. Afterward we stopped at the LDS bookstore and she picked out some presents.

We picked a bucket full of strawberries at the patch down the street. (All that bending over hurt my back. I'm getting old.)

We finished off the day at the Crawfish Festival where London got her face painted, we bought matching sunhats, and listened to local bands play on three stages.

London was introduced to the stench of cigar smoke, folk music, and aging hippies.

Neither of us was brave enough to eat crawfish. We stopped for McDonalds on the way home instead.
