We took a field trip to Phinizy Swamp Nature Park-
where the moss grows thick,
and tree roots push up from the ground in search of air.
We had a large group of homeschoolers.
Parker and Preston went with the older group, so I don't have any pictures of them.
We learned about native fauna as well as flora.
We had fun group activities,
and took a soil sample.
found worms,
and got good and dirty.
