We went to the Cerreta Candy factory for a tour today, which was disappointing. You aren't allowed to actually go into the area where the machines are, (for safety and sanitation reasons) and it's hard for the little kids to see what's going on from the sidelines. And they had already started cleaning the machines for the day, so only two of them were still turned on. Bummer.
We did pick up a variety of chocolates though, which made it all worthwhile. I love those green chocolate mints!

if youre ever vacationing in or through oregon i highly recommend the Tillamook Cheese Factory. They let you walk in a second story level that has glass windows that look down over the actual cheese factory (and they sell the best ice cream with hand made waffle cones!) knows its far away but you never know when youll be in oregon looking for something to do!
