We finally made it to the trunk or treat party at the church. We were late because Dorothy couldn't find her silver shoes, the Tinman walked off with and lost a sewing notion that I needed to fix the Scarecrow's costume, the Tinman couldn't find the gray facepaint that we went to three different stores today to find, the Cowardly Lion repeatedly took off his costume, and the Wicked Witch of the West was crying real tears because she thought green faces were ugly, and the tears started smearing her green facepaint. We got there an hour late before all was said and done. We missed the games, but made it for the popcorn and cotton candy, and the actual trunk or treating. London and Preston both turned in their Frankenstein coloring pages, and were given a Fruit by the Foot, which they thought was a real prize.
