Stingray Bay

We have a membership to the Phoenix Zoo, so we visit frequently.

The kids love stopping to see the koi pond at the entrance.

There is a new exhibit with stingrays that you can pet. The kids have always been too chicken, but this time all except Brooklyn got to feel how slimy they are.

I bought food to feed them, but was the only one brave enough to let them eat out of my hand. Even I would pull my hand away when they got too close, and a few times dropped the bit of fish or shrimp that I was holding for them.

We learned about Governor Hunt's Tomb in our AZ History class. The kids love looking for it every time we pass by on the freeway.

We'll be back for another visit when Brent is in town.
