Egg Hunt #3

How many egg hunts do kids need in one Easter weekend? Apparently three.

We had our traditional family egg hunt after church.

Carol didn't buy candy to fill the eggs because she's too cheap.

Instead, she used her spare change jar to put random coins in each egg. Each one had at least 7 cents. One "golden" egg had a Sacagawea dollar coin.

Carol told the kids she'd take them to the commissary after Easter to use their money to buy clearance candy.

They weren't disappointed. They LOVED the money eggs.

They made out very well, and everyone ended up with a few dollars to spend, and will get a lesson in counting and budgeting money.

This may become a new tradition.
