Goodbye, Silver

Silver the rooster has moved on to another home. He was mean, but still too pretty to eat, so we gave him to another family. I bought an incubator (tres expensive) so that we could try to hatch some of his babies. See the Ameraucana in the background? He's a rooster too. 

Within an hour of Silver's being gone, Einstein was trying to take over with the ladies. He had never crowed once, but is now crowing like crazy to make up for it. Let's hope he doesn't turn mean, too. Bon chance, Silver.
