We went to a bbq at our friends, the Fordham's, house. I made this American flag coconut cream cake. I wish I'd used more food coloring to make it red and dark blue instead of pink and baby blue, and that it'd had stars, but it was so delicious that no one cared! I also made a peach jello poke cake. Mmm.
We waited until dark to throw poppers,
and do sparklers.
I really love sparklers.
I don't remember ever doing them as a kid, but now I can't imagine a fourth of July without them.
