Do The Barbie House Party

We hosted a "Do the Barbie Dance Party" through houseparty.com.

We had eight giggly squealing pajama-clad girls ready for a sleepover.

Naturally we had pizza and soda.

Even though it wasn't a birthday party, I made cupcakes for the girls to decorate.


Most of the girls went overboard with the sprinkles and frosting, nearly doubling the height of their cupcakes. Eww. They made a huge mess, but they all really enjoyed it.


We played musical chairs to the Barbie video music, and played with Barbie dolls. The girls played dress-up, and pretended to be going to "the ball." Braden wanted to play along, so he put on his dragon costume and chased the girls through the house. We watched Barbie movies, and of course, learned the dance moves to the new Barbie video, which you can watch below. The only downer was that houseparty.com only sent three Barbies for the girls. I had to buy extra prizes and draw names for the dolls.

Overall, it was a lot of fun.
